Stimulus Check 103 & Child Tax Credit

Stimulus Packages have been issued by the government in an effort to provide financial relief to the American people during this horrific pandemic named COVID-19. While the pandemic have caused many families to be faced with sickness and death to know relief, their is still hope with the new

vaccination being distributed. During this time many businesses have been forced to closed their doors after 1 year, 10 years or 20 years thus leaving many Americans jobless and border money less. The good news is Unemployment is available, SBA financial assistance, stimulus checks and tax season.

Stimulus checks round 1 were originally issued in the 1st quarter of the year 2020 in the total amount of $1200 head of household and an additional $500 per qualifying child dependent. Stimulus checks round 2 issued during the last quarter of the year 2020, in the total amount of $600 for head of household and an additional $600 per qualifying child dependent. Be sure to check your status by visiting if you have not received 1 or none of these payments you can claim the stimulus on your 2020 tax return as a Recovery Rebate Credit. The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021 expands the Child Tax Credit (CTC) for tax year 2021 only. The advance Child Tax Credits were to help families receive advance payments in an effort to keep the economy stimulated.
